Abstract:
Reel 6 of Samoa Times continues from January 1991 to October, a time of climatic upset and devastation / poverty brought about by Cyclone Ofa and Samoa is finding it difficult to survive economically. The economy and government revenue have faced great hardships and the people are relying deeply on remittances and foreign aid to get back on their feet again. The newspaper have also been affected as the struggle to survive became all too real.
